Up to $150,000 of funding will be available in the Federal electorate of Port Adelaide for small capital projects which improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy and viability of local communities.
We’re looking at all ideas to make Port Adelaide the best, most vibrant community it can be.
Locals and community groups who have an idea for a project should submit their ideas to the Community Advisory Committee. Groups can pick up an expression of interest form by emailing Mark.Butler.MP@aph.gov.auor drop in to the office at 15 Semaphore Road.
Grants of between $5,000 and $20,000 are now open to local not-for-profit community groups and local governments under the new second round of the Stronger Communities Grants Programme.
Community groups are invited to submit an expression of interest for funding which will be assessed by a Community Advisory Committee with projects that represent the best investment for our community being sent to Canberra for final approval.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 11 March 2016.
More information on the funding programme, including guidelines, is available at http://investment.infrastructure.gov.au/funding/scp/.
